根據聯合國的數據統計，女性佔職業運動員總數的４成，但女子運動的相關報導，卻僅佔所有體育媒體曝光的「4%」而已，比例相當懸殊跟失衡。故我們共同發起Women in Sports女性在體壇國際攝影大賽，全世界首創以「Women in Sports女性在體壇」為主題的攝影比賽，用照片傳頌不同樣態在運動圈努力的女性身影。相信這些攝影照片帶來的故事，可以超越國界跟語言的限制，會為不分國內外的女孩、女性帶來深遠影響，讓她們「想」成為更好的人。

According to the statistics from the United Nations, women make up 40% of professional athletes, but news coverage of women’s sports ONLY accounts for “4%” of all sports media. It is utterly disparate and unbalanced. Therefore, the “Women in Sports International Photo Awards” is created to present various types of women in sports, to appreciate outstanding sports photography of women in sports, in addition to promote gender equality in sports.

募集2022年1月1日至2022年12月31日的參賽作品。主題展現參與運動的女性，包括但不限於運動員、裁判、媒體、賽會人員、志工與觀眾。本屆共徵得1,326件！。參賽者遍布五大洲共52個國家

The theme of the entry shall be the display of Female Participants of Sports Events, including but not limited to Athletes, Referees, Media Personnel, Event/Tournament Staff, Volunteers, and Spectators. More Than 1,300 Entries in Total!The contestants come from 52 countries across five continents.
